Types of Love

We all feel something towards others, whether positive or negative emotions. The more we get to know others in our life, the more our feelings change and evolve. We all love different people in different ways. Some of you might say, love is a strong word to describe how you feel towards others, but I don’t necessarily think so. Love is one of the purest emotions we can feel towards ourselves and others. When we show love to our friends, family, acquaintances, and people we just met, we are creating happiness within ourselves and radiating positivity towards others. When we do so, we won’t have harsh senses of negativity, frustration, anger or disappointing emotions. When we do experience any of these emotions, they won’t be destructive or long lasting.

All our relationships are different because they are all with different people, so loving others looks different with everyone. Showing love to a coworker will look different when you show love to a family member. Whether it is giving your time, gifts, saying positive things, or telling someone how awesome they are, love exists in many forms. So many people go through life not experiencing love from others, but we can become an example. You can feel at ease knowing that you are sharing something that is pure and helpful. Often, it might be scary to give something that is promoted to not be given freely. Whether we feel we might get rejected or made fun of, none of that is the point when we are freely loving others. Love is not something that needs to be earned, sharing our love is for the benefit of others– to be a positive light in their lives.

We should work on becoming the kind of women who attract people with integrity, love, and honesty. Once we have found fulfillment in the love and friendships we have formed, this journey will be well worth the effort.

You are in control of how you view yourself, so let it be beautiful.
