August’s Makeup Look

Hillary looks absolutely stunning in these photos! I feel like the overall photos give a summer ambiance. With Hillary’s natural curls, makeup and lighting, this all provides the mood for a fun summer evening. We applied some light contouring, a bright pink lip gloss and purple winged eyeliner for a creative summer look. If you want to add a more dramatic effect, add lashes, and complement the look.

As we all do our makeup, I want us to stop comparing ourselves to other women. Whether they are our friends, family, or even celebrities, I want us to put on blinders and find self-acceptance. I know first-hand how difficult this can be—especially during the summer season when, everywhere you turn, there are cute outfits and “perfect” body types. Constantly seeing such seemingly unattainable standards of beauty may make you feel insecure or embarrassed about how you look. But I want to help you see that you are perfect just the way you are now. The only reason we feel that there is something wrong with us is because we are listening to these societal ideas of how we should look and dress. They are comparing our body type to a certain standard. So, what we need to do is become emotionally strong and find that loving ourselves is the greatest thing we can do. We need to put our personal blinders on and enjoy who we are and what we look like now. No matter what body type we have, if we do not create our own self-love and happiness, we will not accept ourselves! So, this summer is the perfect opportunity to get out of your comfort zones and kinda just tell the world that you are here and nothing anyone says or does will keep you from feeling happy and free.

You are in control of how you view yourself, so let it be beautiful.
