July Makeup

As you can see there are several pictures posted! The beginning of a new month is always fun for me because I get to post these creative makeup looks. I love sharing them with all of you and I hope you enjoy trying them out on yourself.

Now, with this tutorial, the main focus is not the makeup. The makeup look is quite simple. Foundation, brown shades of eyeshadow, false lashes, and a bold red lip are the main products for this look. The focus is Karla’s hair. Her hair is set up in a bun, a ponytail, a braid, and straight loose hair. The reason for this is because I wanted to show you that you can play around with different styles just by changing your hair or even using a different lip color. I want us to be unafraid to trying different things. Let’s strive to be creative and go out of our comfort zones—even if that just looks like changing your regular hairstyle to loose curls. We can begin feeling more comfortable with ourselves when we become more confident in trying different styles and figuring out what we do and don’t like, stylistically. You might ask: Evelyn, why should I care to make these simple changes; what difference does it truly make? My answer to you is that it makes a world of difference! By trying to do these simple changes we are able to train ourselves to be less afraid of what we do, think, or say. We can develop the confidence to try new things and find that we are on our own personal journeys. We are always going to be changing and evolving. We are meant to constantly learn new things about ourselves and learn to love the good and bad (and keep improving on the bad). We are never a finished product! So, enjoy yourself! Try new styles, food, events– you never know what you may find.

Believe in yourself because YOU deserve to feel beautiful!

Don’t forget to follow.

Love, Evelyn.
