Mental, Emotional & Bodily Changes-Oh my!

As all of you know, being a woman comes with a whole lot of crazy changes! It all starts with puberty, right? And from there is it an uphill battle. The bigger changes tend to revolve around our mental and emotional states. All of a sudden we are on a rollercoaster we didn’t even know we were in line for until we have boarded the ride. And this doesn’t just end when we graduate high school or college– It is something we need to learn to push through. Certain emotions and thoughts are often our minds telling us there needs to be some changes in our lives. So, no matter our ages we should learn to listen to our bodies and thoughts to lead towards a healthier life for ourselves. I know all too well how frustrating it can be to mentally and emotionally fight yourself. The moment you start listening to yourself and trusting that you know what you need, you will start to see changes take place. Stop caring about what other people say about you and start listening to the positive things you and other people say. Once you do, all the scary thoughts that run through your head will become silenced.

A lot can happen within one year. What I have learned is to put mental blinders on– I still see everything around me, but my focus is on bettering myself. We may constantly go through changes but we each have the strength to endure them. And by doing so we still learn how to become the best version of ourselves.
