The start of October marks the countdown to Halloween. As soon as October 1st arrives, we find ourselves anticipating this holiday—we may look forward to the candy and the parties, but I think one of the main reasons we become so excited is because Halloween gives us an opportunity to express ourselves in ways we may not have the chance to. Halloween represents a day of no judgments, a day where we are able to free ourselves from the everyday pressures of the world. During this time, you may feel more comfortable wearing what you want, and applying your makeup in new and exciting ways without any fear.

So, why can’t we apply that kind of attitude to our life, every day? Why can’t we view each other without judgment, and accept others the way they are. Why can’t we also be more loving to ourselves and give ourselves the right to express how we truly feel no matter what anyone else thinks. We all deserve to be happy and feel comfortable in our own skin.

People are always going to have their opinions about what you should say, wear, and do. It helps to put blinders on. It is so easy to get bombarded with other people’s successes, opinions, and problems. Stay true to your visions and goals. You are capable of doing so much with your life. Keep working to become that person you want to be.

About Makeup

This makeup look is pretty simple. What I love about this look is how it can applied for any occasion. I used a mixture of light browns to achieve the eye look and I finished off with a black eyeliner to achieve a cat eye. Adding the Signature Eye Color liquid eyeliner allows for a more sophisticated look. And for a pop of color, find your perfect shade of red and apply!

Have fun experimenting
