We Live in a World of People

For the past few years, equality has been a hot debate. For several decades, women have been working to push boundaries, and fight for equal treatment in relation to men. All the women fighting for our rights and equality have made important changes for us; I have to wonder how do we know what equality between men and women looks like since we have yet to experience it the way we wish to. Which then brings up another question, what happens when we as women start to cross boundaries against men? We are no longer equal. There are so many different opinions on equality and it is challenging to find the right answers to make the right decisions. There seems to be an endless tunnel of discussions, but that’s the beauty of it, because the world is not just about what we want, but about the needs of others as well.

Men and women alike have their own struggles and obstacles to overcome—it’s a part of life to work for what you want. It is up to you make it happen. With so much noise in the world you need to believe you can set your own standards and keep improving yourself. Just because there is this barrier between men and women does not mean you can’t gain the independence and respect you want for yourself.

Gaining respect, confidence or even independence won’t happen overnight, but with some effort you will begin to see some changes take place. One tip I can give you is to focus on yourself and be aware of your mindset, body language, and how you speak to others. The more you start to define the kind of person you want to be, the better you will be able to attract the kind people you want in your life.
