I don’t know about you, but there are some days when I don’t feel like doing anything! On these days, all I want to do is stay in bed, eat, and watch Netflix. The worst part is sometimes I get those feelings when I have so much work to do, so I force myself out of bed and get down to it! At the end of the day I realize how great and productive my day went. My point is, people often ask me “how do you start? How do you do something you don’t have the energy for or how do you do something you don’t know how to do?” My answer— just do it.
I have found that so many people are afraid of making mistakes and, because of that fear they hold themselves back and don’t do certain things they might find exciting or interesting. You have new and old ideas coming in all the time— just imagine if you allowed yourself to actually act on a new exciting idea. The only way to get started is by taking action. There is no right or wrong way! Don’t allow negative thoughts to bring you down (I wrote about this in the last post). Pick yourself up and take those simple steps towards whatever you want to do! If you want to be the best mother, the best entrepreneur, or the best teacher, you can do it. Now, is a good day as any to do something that will make you happy.
