Winter Crisp Makeup

Personally this month is my favorite month of the year! It is all about joy, giving and COFFEE!!! And for those who don’t like coffee, there is Hot Chocolate to keep you toasty as well. For this crazy holiday season I know we all want to look good as we shop and search for our special someone. I was planning on doing the same red lips and golden eyeshadow, but I thought I should do something different. You can never go wrong with a red lip, but as we go out to work, shop, and visit family, I thought it would be a good idea to go with a more relaxed look. A look that you can do every day and look just as gorgeous and wintery for this cold December month.

Purple is a wonderful cool color. It screams winter to me!  Plus the coral matted finish for the lips adds a perfect frosty effect! Remember, every first Thursday of the month I will be posting makeup tutorials to encourage all of you to explore with different looks. Makeup shouldn’t be used to cover yourself up but to enhance your natural beauty. You are beautiful with or without makeup and this look is perfect for all of you who may not always wear makeup and would like to experiment. Enjoy and leave a message if you would like to know more about the makeup. If you saw or read something you liked, don’t forget to share with your friends.

Eyes: Started with Elf Primer to allow the makeup to last longer and be more vibrant. Used Signature Color Eye Shadow Quad- Plumberry. We did a Cat eye style with the eyeliner. We first used Signature Color Long Wearing Eye Pencil- Black and then lightly smudged Signature Color Long Wearing Eye Pencil- Plumberry. We did this to tone down the deep purple and add a more natural effect to the eyes. To finish off we used Signature Color Mascara Length.

Face: We first started with applying SPF 35 Exact Fit Beauty Balm Perfecting Primer all over the face. To allow the concealer and foundation to last longer and be applied smoothly. Next, we applied Concealer (Medium) and blended Soleil 75 Balancing Foundation with a blending sponge and added Mineral Foundation (Medium) to set the foundation and add a smoother appearance. Lastly, we applied Signature Color Blush- Peachy Pink. It has a slight pigment of orange for a warmer look.

Eyebrow: We used Brown Automatic Eyebrow Pencil

Lip: To finish we used a Bright Coral Color and gave the lips a matted effect by using a small brush to apply Exact Fit Perfecting Loose Powder over the lips.
