The Beginning

For a while now I have been trying to figure out what I was going to write. I had a swirl of thoughts and questions… I became lost as to what kind of message I wanted to send to readers. What would women want to read? As a woman, myself what would I want to read? What would happen if I offended someone when I wanted to be positive and encouraging? With so much media noise how will I be able to make an impact to all the women in the world? These questions and so many more would keep me up at night. I got to the point where I started to become insecure about my potential. I kept viewing my insecurities as the enemy, but they actually helped me realize I am just like all of you, a regular young woman with so much potential to do great things for myself and others. We live in a fast and busy world where many of us become consumed with all the negativity. We need to remind ourselves that we are all strong individuals and we have the potential to do anything we put our minds to.

I would like to feel connected to each and every one of you. I want all of you to feel empowered. I will be posting monthly picture tutorials on how-to makeup looks! I feel this is important to add because I want to create an environment where we can learn to love ourselves just the way we are while learning how to have fun with makeup and use it to enhance our natural beauty instead of covering it up.  I want to encourage women of all ages to be confident and strong and strive to have a healthier body and mind–Not because the whole world is telling us to be better, but because we want to be better for ourselves.

I cannot wait to communicate with all of you and read about all the positive changes you will be making in your life.

Love Evelyn
